Recommendations for working with the Desktop client
To ensure proper operation of the Desktop client, it is recommended to disable "Sleep mode" to avoid camera malfunctions.
To disable "Sleep mode":
Open "Control panel," select "Hardware and sound," and open the "Power options" tab
Choose the power plan "Balanced" and click on "Change plan settings."
On the settings page, next to the options "Turn off the display" and "Put the computer to sleep," select "Never" from the drop-down menu
Click on "Change advanced power settings" and check the following:
Hard disk → Turn off hard disk → Value: 20 minutes
Internet Explorer → JavaScript timer frequency → Value: Maximum performance
Desktop background settings → Slide show → Value: Available
Wireless adapter settings → Power saving mode → Value: Maximum performance
Sleep:
Sleep after → Value: Never
Hibernate after → Value: Never
Allow wake timers → Value: Enable
USB settings → USB selective suspend setting → Value: Enabled
PCI Express → Link state power management → Value: Moderate power savings
Processor power management:
Minimum processor state → Setting: 5%
Maximum processor state → Setting: 100%
Display → Turn off display after → Value: Never
Multimedia settings:
When sharing media → Value: Prevent idling to sleep
Video playback quality change → Value: Change video playback quality
When playing video → Value: Optimize video quality
