Auto provisioning is the procedure of automatically adding and configuring a camera. Auto provisioning involves the automatic creation of a location, entity, and camera profile, reserving an IP address for the camera using a DHCP server, and receiving and transmitting camera streams to the Mediaserver. The stages of auto provisioning can be tracked through the VMS administrator interface (see Provisioning).

A mandatory requirement for applying auto provisioning is the use of the customer addressing system or similar systems.

For more information about auto provisioning, refer to the Auto-Provisioning Algorithm and Methods.

There are also additional options for adding cameras and video streams:

DHCP Server

A DHCP server that provides IP address assignment and control functionality to cameras within the VMS.

A management center that orchestrates all components of the video surveillance system, ensures operational control, and interacts with other products of the VSaaS platform.

A high-performance server for processing video, audio, and data information, either as a standalone product or as part of the VSaaS platform. It receives video streams and data from cameras and devices, processes them, records them in the archive, and delivers them to users in selected formats.

Software responsible for collecting information on the use of telecommunication services, tariffing, issuing invoices to subscribers, and processing payments.

Customer systems that manage contractual relationships with users of the services.

Equipment Control System

A system that controls the lifecycle of the customer's network equipment (cameras), including monitoring its movement and status.
