Handle intercom calls (Android, iOS)

This section outlines the process of receiving intercom calls. It explains how incoming calls from an intercom are routed to various devices, and what happens next once the call is answered, missed, or declined.

To enable audio communication with a visitor via the intercom, the mobile app requires the appropriate permission to use the mobile device's microphone.

The intercom operation algorithm upon receiving a call is as follows:

  • An incoming call from the intercom is simultaneously sent to all selected devices configured to receive calls.

  • If the call is answered on one device, it is automatically stopped on the other devices.

  • If the call is rejected on one device, it continues ringing on the remaining devices.

  • If the call is answered on the intercom handset or a landline phone, corresponding notifications will be displayed on the mobile device
