Licensing. The Administrator client

The Licensing section includes the following subsections:

  • Licenses

  • Support and software updates

Licenses

In the Licenses subsection, you can find information about the number of licenses:

  • For cameras.

  • For intercoms.

  • For different levels of video analytics.

  • Connecting the Analytics module is necessary for analytics licenses to be displayed on this page.

The Licensing page

For camera and intercoms licenses, the following information is indicated:

  • Used – the number of licenses used for this licensing parameter.

  • Available – the number of available licenses for this licensing parameter.

  • Total – the total number of licenses for this licensing parameter.

For the Analytics licenses, the following information is indicated:

  • The license name and its level.

  • Types of analytics available within the license of the specified level.

  • Used – the number of licenses used for this licensing parameter.

  • Available – the number of available licenses for this licensing parameter.

  • Total – the total number of licenses for this licensing parameter.

  • Shared – the total number of licenses distributed to users by the operator.

 

For Level 1 video analytics license, the analytics types are as follows:

  • Detection of loud sounds.

  • Smoke and fire detection.

  • Line crossing detection.

  • Camera damage/overlap/vandalism detection.

  • Zone intrusion detection.

For Level 2 video analytics license, the analytics types are as follows:

  • Counting objects in an area.

  • Visitor counting.

For Level 3 video analytics license, the analytics types are as follows:

  • Face recognition:

    • Users – number of licenses used in the web client.

    • Devices – the number of licenses that are used by the intercom through the Administrator client.

  • License plate recognition.

  • Container number recognition.

For Level 4 video analytics license, the analytics types are as follows:

  • Face recognition:

    • Users

    • Devices

  • Counting objects in an area.

  • Visitor counting.

  • Detection of loud sounds.

  • License plate recognition.

  • Zone intrusion detection.

  • Camera damage/overlap/vandalism detection.

  • Smoke and fire detection.

  • Line crossing detection.

  • Container number recognition.

After removing analytics licenses, information about analytics types, reactions, events, and analytics resources is preserved for the user for 7 days and then deleted.

The status of licensing servers for cameras, intercoms, and analytics is displayed on this page. These statuses are refreshed hourly through an automatic license recheck. If an error is received in response to the request, the Inactive status will be displayed.

In case the license server is unavailable, the license quantity information displays No data.

Expand the Face recognition analytics type to view the list that includes:

  • Users – the number of licenses used in the web client.

  • Devices – the number of licenses that are used by the intercom in the Administrator interface.

The Support and software updates subsection informs users about technical support expiration and software update options.
