The Mediaserver follows a structured development and support lifecycle.

Versioning of Mediaserver is presented in the following categories:

• LTS (Long time support). This version offers extended support but prioritize stability over cutting-edge features. While they don’t include experimental or unstable builds, they receive regular critical updates to address issues and maintain reliability.

• A stable build incorporates the most recent features, updates, and critical bug fixes from the latest release.

The product version string is formed according to the following rules:

[Project name Major.Minor.Patch.Hotfix].

For example: VSaaS 24.09.0.0

The major version is determined by our product development and release guidelines.

The minor version is incremented in the following cases:

• The product functionality remains unchanged, but the underlying processes or methods are modified.

• Minor product enhancements or changes are introduced.
