Watch video in the layout
You can initialize watching video in the layout in one of the following ways:
On the Layouts tab, expand the layout name and tap a camera.
For a relevant layout and call out its context menu by tapping the vertical ellipses icon (⋮). Next, select Open layout.
As a result, it opens the layout and player to watch video from added cameras.

To change the cell for a camera on the layout, tap and hold the camera and drag it to an empty cell or to the cell occupied by another camera. If the cell already contains a camera, the cameras will swap places.
To add a camera to an empty cell, tap the cell. From the opened list of cameras, select a relevant one. Cameras already included in the layout are disabled for selection. Adding cameras is only possible when the player isn’t in full-screen mode.
You can delete a camera from a layout regardless of whether you are viewing cameras in landscape or portrait orientation. To delete a camera from the layout, tap the camera cell and drag it to the screen top, where the area for deletion is active now. In the dialogue window, confirm the action or cancel it.

Deleting a camera
If you're experiencing playback issues due to numerous cameras or an unstable connection, you may see an error message. To improve performance, consider these options:
Reduce the number of cameras in the layout.
Switch to single-camera view. For this, select a camera, open it full screen (see the details below) and swipe left or right on the screen to watch video from other cameras in this layout. Focusing on one camera at a time can help ensure smoother playback.
The overall performance of your device can affect how well multiple cameras are displayed simultaneously in the layout.

A notification on unstable playback
You can manage cameras in the layout only independently. This means there is no synchronization between them. To manage a camera, tap it. The selected camera is highlighted in blue.
At the bottom of the screen, you can find the list of events associated with the selected camera.

The selected playback settings (sound, speed, and quality) will be remembered until you leave the layout screen.
The layout header displays the currently selected camera and the time of the video feed being displayed. When viewing cameras within a layout, you can set an independent viewing time for each camera.
When watching archived camera footage, a special Archive icon identifies this camera cell.
When viewing an archive from any camera in an eight-cell layout, the display automatically switches to two pages of four cameras each. Swipe left or right to navigate.

When back to Live on all cameras, the layout will revert to an eight-cell layout.

To view a camera feed full screen, use one of the options:
Tap twice a camera cell.
Select More > Open camera full screen.
When in full screen, swipe left or right to navigate the cameras in the layout.

To go back to the layout view:
Double tap the camera feed.
Select More > Back to layout.
To watch all cameras in landscape mode:
Select More > Rotate screen.
When in full screen, select the Rotate screen icon
. The camera feed will open in landscape mode.
With auto-rotate enabled, the screen will change its orientation to landscape when you tilt the device.

Tap the screen to select a camera. Tapping a screen enables or disables the player controls for the selected camera.

To open a camera feed full screen, tap Full screen camera or double tap the camera feed.

Swipe left or right to navigate the cameras in the layout. To return to the layout view, tap Back to layout or double tap the camera feed.
To exit the landscape orientation, tap the icon . If you have auto-rotate enabled on your device, the screen will change its orientation when you tilt the device.
