Add an Agent-integrated camera
Adding Agent-integrated cameras to the video surveillance system and managing them in the mobile app is done via the Devices tab > Cameras.
The user needs the Devices → Camera Agent. General permission in order to use the Agent-integrated cameras in the video surveillance system. This permission is granted by the system administrator.
Users can now independently connect Hikvision and Tiandy Agent-integrated cameras.
Before you start adding a camera, check the following:
The camera is connected to the internet.
The user is logged in to the mobile app.
To add the Agent-integrated camera, follow the steps:
Select Add camera.
On the opened bottom sheet, select one of the options to add a camera:

Adding a camera
Enter data manually. When you select this option, a tab will open for entering the camera details:
Camera name – up to 50 characters. Any characters are allowed.
Select an option:
Serial number. Use the camera serial number, located on the device body. Maximum length: 255 characters.
MAC address. Use the camera MAC address, located on the device body. The MAC address is a 12-character sequence of digits and Latin letters A–F. Maximum length: 255 characters.
Scan QR code. To proceed with this option, ensure that the surveillance app has permission to access the device’s camera for photo and video capture. If not previously granted, the app will prompt you to allow access.
Point your device's camera at the QR code associated with the camera. The QR code can typically be found on the camera body, packaging, or in the user manual. Once scanned, a setup form will appear with the Serial number field automatically populated. This field is read-only and cannot be modified.
Enter a name for your camera (up to 50 characters). You may use any combination of characters.
Select Add camera. If the information you entered is correct, the app will connect to the device and begin receiving data from the camera.
The camera will show a status of Activating until the activation is successfully completed. While it’s in this state, you can delete the camera at any time without waiting for the activation to finish.
If an error occurs during activation, the camera will be removed automatically, and you’ll see a notification on the screen.
The added camera will be listed on the All cameras tab and on the Devices tab > Cameras. Agent-integrated cameras are identified with this icon.
