Licensing
Products are licensed using two methods:
Offline
Online
Currently, online licensing is used for license activation. However, it is possible to perform license activation offline.
Online Licensing
Online licensing is performed using the License Management System.
The License Management System is a software license management system. This system allows you to:
Issue licenses
Check licenses
Conduct the following checks:
License expiration
Update expiration
Technical support expiration
Features of the License Management System
Reconnection to the license server
Applications send a request to validate the license and obtain license parameters. If the license server is unavailable, the application attempts to reconnect to the license server.
If there is no connection to the license server, connection attempts are made:
For VMS and Analytics every 24 hours; the total number of connections for VMS is 3 times for the administrator panel and 5 times for the web client, for Analytics is 3 times. After the connection cycle is completed, the software is blocked, and the user receives the corresponding information message
For Mediaserver, it is attempted once, after which the application will work for 30 minutes and then will be blocked

License verification
License verification follows the following principle:
The application sends a request to validate the license and obtain license parameters
The license server confirms the authenticity of the license and sends the data to the application
The application applies the received data and displays an information message confirming successful license activation
If the license validity period is about to expire, the user receives an information message indicating the soon expiration of the license.
If the license is not valid, the user receives a corresponding message, but the application functionality is blocked while preserving all user settings and resources.

Offline Licensing
Offline licensing is performed without using the License Management System. Therefore, it is recommended to contact support if you need to use offline licensing.
