The VSaaS platform provides a flexible approach to building video surveillance systems. It allows adapting IP camera integration to specific requirements based on the network infrastructure state: from direct cloud streaming over the internet to using Edge devices.
The Edge device architecture introduces an intermediate component – a dedicated device or service that collects and optimizes video streams from IP cameras and transfers them to the video surveillance platform. These solutions include the Bridge device and Camera (Agent) – an IP camera with the Agent edge service integrated directly into the camera firmware.
The Edge devices documentation section provides instructions for configuring, integrating, and effectively using Edge devices on the platform. The materials are intended for technical specialists, administrators, and end users of video surveillance systems.
