The Face recognition analytics type

The Face recognition analytics type is engineered to detect and recognize faces that match the images added to the analytics resource group. Analytics resources for Face recognition are added during the creation of an analytics case.

The Face recognition analytics type allows for the following analytics events:

  • Face recognized. The image obtained from the camera's video stream matches reference images.

  • Face unrecognized. The image obtained from the camera's video stream doesn’t match any reference image.

Step 1. Name and type

Step 1. Name and type

  • Enter the name of the analytics case.

  • Select the Face recognition analytics type from the list.

  • Select Next to proceed to step 2.

Step 2. Events and reactions

Here, you set an appropriate analytics event and reactions to these events.

Further, on step 5 (Set up Analytics), you’ll use this list to select events and reactions when setting up each camera.
