A system re-poll for tariff plan information updates
The system is designed to periodically re-poll for service information updates.
A specified number (N) of consecutive requests are sent to the customer billing system. The number of requests and their frequency are configurable based on agreements with the customer.
As a result of a re-poll, the tariff plan can be:
The service may continue as it is or be subject to changes. These changes could occur if the tariff plan was updated in the customer billing system.
Get the Only live status.
Terminated.
A system re-poll is performed for the tariff plans with the Active and Only live statuses. Upon each request, the system checks if the user exists and their status within the customer billing system. If the login isn’t found or the user status is different from Active, the request is repeated N times at specified intervals.
During the re-poll process, the displayed data for the tariff plan remains unchanged (the tariff plan name, the status, and the end date). The administrator can manually re-initiate the tariff plan information update.
As a result of a re-poll verification failure:
On the User Portal Manager, the following is displayed:
A notification about the tariff plan termination.
A tariff plan gets the Deactivated status.
The administrator can manually re-initiate the tariff plan information update. As a result, the tariff plan can be reactivated.
The button to activate the tariff plan becomes unavailable. Reactivation of the tariff plan can be performed via the update of the tariff plan information (as mentioned above).
The system re-poll isn’t performed.
On the VMS platform:
B2B users can no longer access cameras.
Camera archive recording will be disabled if no user is currently associated with this camera.
As a result of a successful re-poll, a request is made to obtain information about the user's subscribed packages. If after N requests, the information isn’t received:
On the User Portal Manager, the following is displayed:
A notification about the tariff plan availability in Only live mode.
A tariff plan gets the Only live status.
The administrator can manually re-initiate the tariff plan information update. As a result, the tariff plan can be reactivated.
The button to activate the tariff plan becomes unavailable. Reactivation of the tariff plan can be performed via the update of the tariff plan information (as mentioned above).
The system re-polls are performed. As a result, the tariff plan can be terminated, remained in the Only live status, or activated.
