The information panel of Sputnik intercoms

The upper part of the intercom information panel contains the details of the current intercom and a number of options.

The panel contains the following details and management options:

  • The system name of the intercom and its ID.

  • The intercom address.

  • The entrance (if specified).

  • The intercom UUID with a possibility to copy to the clipboard.

  • The vendor name.

  • The intercom operational status with one of the values: Installed, Initializing, Not installed.

  • The intercom availability status: Online or Offline.

  • The Back button to return to the list of intercoms.

  • The Restart intercom camera button that restarts video streams.

  • The Restarts item button that restarts the panel.

  • The Panel is on/Panel is disabled button allows you to toggle the intercom panel on and off (see the detailed description below).

  • The Replace panel button.

  • The Delete button.

The intercom settings are available on the tabs as displayed on the image.

Turn the panel on and off

When the panel is off, the intercom gets the Inactive status. The intercom remains in the list of intercoms. At the same time, its functionality is limited both in the Administrator interface and for users via the mobile app.

In the Administrator interface, the changes are as follows:

  • The system stops recording video feed to its archive from the intercom camera. The previously recorded archive remains available to view.

  • Camera live streaming is no longer available.

  • The Open the door using facial recognition option is paused. The video analytics stream gets the Paused status.

  • It’s impossible to change the settings for this intercom.

The following options remain available:

  • User can unlock the door with a physical key.

  • User can unlock the door with temporary codes created prior to the panel being turned off.

  • Calls from the intercom to the analog handset.

In the mobile app, the following options are disabled:

  • View video from the camera.

  • Add, edit, and delete photos.

  • Set the schedule.

  • Set of devices to receive calls.

  • Add users.

The following options remain enabled:

  • View the history of calls.

  • View and filter the events.

  • Navigate from the event to its archive.

  • View the added photos.

  • View the schedule.

  • View the visitors.
