Select video quality (Android, iOS)

If a camera is configured to send two video streams with different resolutions, users can choose to view the video in either standard definition (SD) or high definition (HD) – this is applicable to Live mode only. To change the definition quality, tap the HD or SD quality button on the player. From the opened bottom sheet, select relevant stream quality.

Whenever a camera is opened in the player, the player automatically applies the video quality settings specified for the Video quality parameter. For details, see the instructions in the documentation Other > Settings >Internet and video settings.

In Archive, this button serves as the stream quality indication for recorded camera footage – HD, SD, HD/SD. The quality change button in the player is inactive in Archive because the viewing quality selection is automatic.
