Users independently connect a camera to a local network with access to the Internet and set up this camera.

The camera can be added in one of the following ways:
-
In the Web interface of the user. See the details below.

When the fields are completed, select Add to finalize adding a camera.
An error message will appear on the form if the data is entered incorrectly or the camera failed to get connected.

-
Select Update.
-
Confirm the installation.
The Update button is only active when the camera status is Active.
Monitoring the update process:

The Video Streams tab
On the Video Streams tab, you can view the addresses of the high definition (HD) and standard definition (SD) streams. No editing is available.
The Access rights tab
On this tab, the user can view the list of sub users who they granted access to this camera.
The tab is displayed only if the administrator granted the Users access level to this user and permitted to view and manage users.
Here, the following management options are available:
-
Add a user. Select Add user to add a new user. Selecting this button will navigate you to the Settings section to add a new user. This newly created user will be granted access to this camera by default, and that is reflected in the Cameras access permissions.
-
Edit the list. Selecting Edit list will navigate you to the Settings section to view the list of existing sub users.
The Archive tab
In the Archive tab, you can view and edit the archive recording settings for each added camera.
Editing of recording settings on the Archive tab for a selected camera is restricted. Only users with the appropriate permissions configured by an administrator (Devices > Camera. Archive) can modify these settings. For all other users, the settings are available in read-only mode.
When archive recording is activated on the Agent-integrated camera, the system automatically defaults to using the camera HD stream for a higher quality archive.
In the Local storage section, you can find the list of local storage connected to the camera. Each local storage is displayed with the following information:
-
The storage capacity
-
Video duration
To configure the Cloud Archive recording settings, enable it by dragging the On toggle. Specify the number of days to store the archive – minimum is 1 (one) day.
The Services tab
On the new Services tab, users can manage the PTZ option and built‑in events implemented by the camera manufacturer.
-
PTZ control. Camera (Agent) supports real‑time remote pan, tilt, and zoom allowing users to instantly adjust the viewing area without any extra software. The toggle determines whether PTZ camera controls are shown in the camera player. By default, PTZ controls are disabled.
-
Built‑in events receiving. By default, the option is disabled. The Events receiving toggle controls whether the system receives camera events via the ONVIF protocol. Once enabled, select which events to receive, and the system delivers them instantly.
The services offered by the camera manufacturer are available only if all the following requirements are met.
-
Built-in camera services must be enabled directly via the camera’s native settings, independent of the VMS platform.
-
Within the ONVIF services tab, activate a required service:
-
PTZ control
-
Event receiving, and define the event types to be received.
