The following is a detailed description of each control.

1. Timeline

The timeline is used to navigate through viewing time. The slider shows the current playback moment.

Hovering your cursor over the timeline displays the date and time at the selected point in time.

To move through viewing time, move the cursor to the desired moment and click the left mouse button. To move the timeline, move the cursor over the timeline and hold down the right mouse button. Next, move the mouse left and right to move the timeline.

There are two ways to change the scale detail:

  1. Hover your cursor over the scale. Hold down the CTRL key and use the mouse wheel to select the desired level of detail

  2. Move slider 10 to the right/left to increase/decrease the detail of the timeline of the timeline.

Exporting an archive on a common timeline allows you to upload a section of the archive from all cameras of the current template.

The maximum duration of the period that can be downloaded in one file is two hours

Before exporting the archive, you can set the beginning and end of the archive section on the timeline using the buttons to indicate the left and right boundaries of the section.

Place the cursor at the beginning of the archive section and click on the button to set the left border of the section. As a result, the left border of the area will be set on the general timeline, as well as on all unblocked cameras.

Next, place the cursor at the end of the archive section and click on the button to set the right boundary of the section. As a result, the selected area will be displayed on the general timeline, as well as on all unblocked cameras.

To remove interval boundaries, click «X».

After setting the interval boundaries, click the export archive section button. As a result, a form for selecting cameras will be displayed with the fields for the beginning and end of the archive section already filled in.

You can also not set the boundaries of the archive area, but use the archive export function and enter dates and times using the calendar.

Select the cameras from which you want to export the archive.

Click «Export an archive section».

As a result, a notification about the start of the file generation process will appear on the screen:

Once the process is complete, the following notification will be displayed:

You can download the file by clicking one of the buttons on the notification:

  • «Download» – download a file in MP4 format

  • «Download in archive» – download the file in ZIP format

If the program settings specify the path for saving exported files, the file will be automatically saved to the selected directory. If the path is not specified, a directory selection window will be displayed each time the file is uploaded

The generated files are also available for download in the «Downloads» section.

4. Playback speed

Allows you to adjust the playback speed on all unlocked cameras. Available values are 0.5x, 1x (normal speed, set by default), 2x, 4x, 8x.

5. Timeline Lock

When timeline lock is enabled on a shared timeline, the user will not be able to click on it or move the slider in any way. General timeline functions (rewind, play\stop, etc.) will be available.

6. Buttons for moving to the beginning/end of the archive

To go to the start or end of archive recording on all unlocked cameras, click on the corresponding button.

7. Rewind/forward at a specified interval

Use the rewind buttons to rewind archive playback back/forward at a specified interval.

8. Buttons for moving to the beginning/end of the timeline

Pressing the corresponding buttons rewinds playback to the beginning or end of the timeline.

9. Stop/start playback button

To stop or start video playback, click on the corresponding buttons in the player.

If playback is stopped, archive recording continues

10. Changing the timeline detail

Using the slider, you can change the time intervals on the general timeline, as well as on the timelines of all unlocked cameras.

Available values:

  • 1 hour - the timeline will display 1 hour of time from the beginning to the end of the timeline (for example, from 8:00 am to 9:00 am)

  • 4 hours - the timeline will display 4 hours from the start to the end of the timeline (for example, from 6:00 am to 10:00 am)

  • 6 hours - the timeline will display 6 hours from the beginning to the end of the timeline (for example, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm)

  • 12 hours - the timeline will display 12 hours from the start to the end of the timeline (for example, from 6:00 am to 18:00 pm)

  • 24 hours - the timeline will display 24 hours from the start to the end of the timeline (for example, from 10:00 am one day to 10:00 am the next day)

11. Selecting date and time of viewing

The function allows you to select the date and time of viewing on all cameras simultaneously.

When you press the button, the calendar is displayed.

Select viewing date and time

Select the desired date and time, then click «Apply».

As a result, the specified date and time for viewing the archive will be selected on all unlocked cameras of the current template.
