Export video from the project
Exporting a video from a project involves saving the video content from your project to your local storage. This allows you to access and use the video clips outside the project environment.
Export of video depends on the layout the project is open in:
All video files placed on the timeline in a single cell are combined into one final MP4 downloaded file.
This file can accommodate up to 10 hours of video, as each cell within the layout has a 10-hour video capacity.
The maximum export duration for a single project with a 6-cell layout is 60 hours.
To export video, follow the steps:
Open a project to export files from. If required, change the layout.
For video files with an embedded audio track, you can toggle the sound on or off both before export. The audio from the original video will be carried over to the exported file, unless it was muted. For details on how to manage audio, navigate to the Edit video article.
In the Instruments section, select Download.
From the opened Video export window, select the parameters for video downloading. These settings will be applied to all exported video files.

File format
Select the format in which the files will be downloaded:
MP4. In this case, each file will be saved in MP4. The file name will include the project name and a number indicating the position of the cell within the layout: Project name_video1.
ZIP. In this case, all downloaded files will be compressed into a single ZIP archive. Inside the archive, files will be saved in MP4 format. For example, if you download video from a layout with 6 cells, an archive will be created containing 6 MP4 files corresponding to these cells.
The ZIP archive name will include the project name and a number of video files in it: Project name_Nvideo. Where N – is the number of cells in the project layout.
The file names within the archive will include the project name and a number indicating the position of the cell within the layout: Project name_video1, Project name_video2.
To complete export, select Video export. This will initiate export of the files.
You’ll see an informational message at the right bottom with the progress bar. Here, you can stop export by selecting Cancel. If you select the Close ( X ) icon, the export process will continue in the background.
