Homepage of the Administrator client

Upon successful authorization, you will be directed to the homepage of the Administrator client.

On the homepage of the Administrator client, you can view statistics about users, cameras, platform servers, and reported complaints on cameras. You can always navigate to the homepage from other sections of the Administrator client, selecting the special navigation icon image-20260630-143525.png at the top-left.

All displayed data is filtered and shown in accordance with the access rights of the currently logged-in administrator.

The Administrator client

The data is presented according to the settings of the time zone of the current administrator.

You can track the current version number of VMS at the left-bottom.

The information on the page is grouped in the following blocks:

  • Users

  • Cameras

  • Servers

  • Complaints

Filter by a time period

The changes in the number of users and cameras are displayed for the selected time period. Use the available filters to select a period:

  • Today — displays data from 00:00 of the current day to the current time.

  • Yesterday — displays data for the previous day, from 00:00 to 23:59.

  • Week — displays data for the last seven days, including the current day.

  • 28 days — displays data for the last 28 days, including the current day.

  • Custom time period — displays data for the period you specify.

To set a custom time period, select the date field. A calendar opens where you can choose the start and end dates:

  • Select the first date to set the start of the reporting period.

  • Select the second date to set the end of the reporting period.

Users

In the Users block, you find the following details:

  • Total users as of the final date of the selected period.

  • Change in total user count, shown numerically and as a percentage, for the period.

  • Number of special users and their change, shown numerically and as a percentage, for the period.

  • Number of subusers and their change, shown numerically and as a percentage, for the period.

  • Number of users added by the customer and their change, shown numerically and as a percentage, for the period.

Cameras

In the Cameras block, you find the following details:

  • Total number of cameras up to the final date of the selected period.

  • The variation in the total camera count, expressed both numerically and as a percentage, for the given period.

  • Vumber of inactive cameras.

  • Number of cameras with issues.

  • Under Top cameras by bitrate, you can track an IP address of a camera and a camera bitrate.

Servers

In the Servers block, you find these details:

  • Total number of active and inactive servers.

  • Number of servers included in distribution, available to accept video streams.

  • Average number of users per server.

  • Average number of cameras per server.

  • Under Top servers by bitrate, you can track a server name and its bitrate.

Complaints

In the Complaints block, you find these details:

  • Number of complaints.

  • Number of cameras with reported complaints.

  • Under Top cameras by complaints, you can track a camera's IP address and its complaint count.
