The Installation files section features the following functional tabs:

Client versions – for uploading and managing software versions available for download on the client website.

Firmware files – for uploading and managing firmware files for Bridge devices.
Client versions
The data within this tab is structured in a tabular format featuring the following columns:

ID: Unique record identifier.

Name: Name of the version.
-
Description: Brief overview of the client version.
-
Version: Software release version.
-
Publication: Deployment or publication status.
-
Creation at: Date of entry (sortable column).
Upload a client version
To upload a new version:

Select Upload new version.
-
From the Software type drop-down, select Client Version.

Complete the form that opens:
-
Published: When the check box is selected, this client version is available for users to download.

Version: specify the version name.
-
Description: provide necessary description of the client version.
-
Specify details under Major version, Minor version, Revision number, Build number.

Select Attach installation file and proceed with upload of a client version file. File requirements:
-
Supported file extensions: .bin, .dav, .fm, .deb.

Maximum file size 150 MB.
-

Select Save to complete file upload. Select Cancel to cancel the action.
Once successfully uploaded, the client version file will automatically be displayed in the table.
Successful version upload generates a corresponding event. This event is logged and can be found in Logging > User actions > Administrators.
View and edit a client version
To view and edit a specific version, select the corresponding row in the table.
The following fields are available for editing:

Description

The Published checkbox
Delete a client version

Select a relevant client in the table.

Select the Delete button.

Confirm the deletion.
Firmware files
The Firmware files tab is designed for uploading and managing firmware files for Bridge devices.
The data within this tab is structured in a tabular format featuring the following columns:

ID: Unique record identifier.

Name: Name of the version.
-
Description: Brief overview of the client version.

Version: Firmware release version.
-
Publication: Testing or publication status.
-
Creation at: Date of entry (sortable column).
Upload a firmware version
To upload a new version:

Select Upload new version.

From the Software type drop-down, select Firmware. This activates other relevant fields.

From the Devices drop-down, select Bridge. This activates the Model drop-down.

From the Model drop-down, select the relevant bridge model. The list only displays models registered in the system for the specified device.

Under New firmware availability for devices, select an option:
-
Published: the uploaded firmware version becomes available for update by administrators and users in their web interface.

Testing activates the Users drop-down. When this mode is selected, the uploaded firmware version becomes available for updates by administrators and any users selected from the Users drop-down. The drop-down doesn’t include administrators or subusers.

Name: name of the version.

The Published or Testing checkbox. Changing from the Testing to Published hides the Users selector.
To save introduced changes, select Save.
Delete a firmware version

Select a relevant version in the table.
