Access point: a new approach to organize access control

The highlight of this release is the new Access point feature that redefines how Access control is organized and managed across the platform. Move beyond managing individual devices. Instead of configuring separate intercoms, gates, or other equipment piece by piece, administrators now work with a single logical instance: the Access point. This Access point brings together all devices that regulate entry or exit – whether for pedestrians or vehicles – through a specific location at a facility, allowing you to manage the access point itself rather than juggling separate hardware. Detailed instructions are available in the new Access control section of the administrator documentation.

How it works. When creating an Access point, the administrator selects its type: Entrance, Drive-in, Fixed, or Universal. Depending on the chosen type, the platform will guide you on which devices and how many can be connected, integrating them into a unified system. Simply link intercoms and the new BLE devices to the Access point. They will all function as a single mechanism, with management and settings streamlined within one Access point. For end-users, all it takes is a smartphone with our mobile app. All access methods for that entry point are centralized there: users can unlock doors via the intercom, use BLE keys, and manage access directly from the new Access section in the app or new widget, eliminating the need to switch between different app tabs. Use case example. Imagine a modern apartment building entrance equipped with both an intercom and Bluetooth-based keyless entry. To provide residents with a seamless and modern experience, the administrator creates an Entrance access point named "Entrance No. 1."

  • For the Administrator: the intercom (handling visitor calls and communication) and the BLE device (for keyless smartphone entry) are combined into a single instance – Entrance access point. All connected devices, access permissions, and settings for this entry are kept in one place, greatly simplifying setup, management, and ongoing maintenance.

  • For the Residents: there is no longer any need to search for physical keys or key fobs. Residents simply carry their smartphone with Bluetooth (BLE) enabled. As they approach the door, the system controller automatically identifies the phone, verifies access rights, and unlocks the door.

Platform UI update: from device management to access management

The introduction of the Access point serves as the foundation for a comprehensive platform-wide update. This exciting new concept allowed us to elevate both the system's underlying logic and its user interfaces to a whole new level.

  • For Administrators: we completely redesigned the Administrator cabinet, consolidating the management of all services and devices into a new section called the Platform tree. This provides a holistic, big-picture view of the facility, allowing management of any devices from a single location without jumping between tabs. Learn more in the sections below.

  • For Users: we revamped the mobile app by introducing a new Access section. This brings together all ways to enter the property into one place – ranging from the new Access point capabilities and BLE key support to traditional intercoms. Learn more in the sections below.

Access point: supported devices

The platform's new architecture already fully supports intercoms and BLE devices today, and upcoming releases will unlock even more capabilities. We built far more than a tool for your current hardware – we created a dynamic, future-proof foundation crafted to grow and evolve seamlessly alongside your facility's changing needs. In future updates, the Access point functionality will expand significantly with the integration of actuator devices (ping modules, cameras with alarm outputs) and other professional-grade equipment. Stay tuned for exciting new releases!

BLE device: a smarter way to control access

We are thrilled to continue expanding our platform's device ecosystem, introducing full technical integration with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) controllers – delivering an even more secure, seamless, and modern way to manage access across your facility. BLE technology turns your smartphone into a secure digital key. The system controller automatically recognizes your phone via a secure Bluetooth signal, making entry and vehicle access effortless. You don’t even need to take your phone out of your pocket or bag – access happens automatically!

How it works. We’ve made the entire access management experience effortless and transparent for everyone:

  • For Administrators: easily add a BLE device to any Access point directly from your Admin panel. From there, configure access settings and issue permanent or temporary digital keys in seconds. Monitor the status of issued keys in real time and revoke active keys instantly, ensuring top-tier facility security with zero hassle. Detailed instructions are available in the new BLE Devices section of the administrator documentation.

  • For Users: once issued by the admin, digital keys appear automatically in the mobile app, ready to use instantly in the new Access section or via widget. Better yet, you can tailor your entry style to fit the exact routine by choosing a preferred opening mode:

    • Automatic opening (hands-free): the ultimate in convenience. As you approach a door, elevator, or gate, the system controller detects your smartphone via Bluetooth and opens it instantly. Leave your phone right where it is – in your bag or pocket!

    • One-tap opening (manual control): for times when you want absolute precision. Open the door or gate with a single tap in the app right when you need it. Ideal if you often pass by entrances without going through them, this mode prevents accidental openings and gives you full control.

Interactive onboarding in the mobile app

We've introduced Interactive Onboarding to help users get the most out of Access points from day one. Available directly in the new Access section (via the "i" icon), it provides a simple, step-by-step introduction to the new functionality and is always available whenever users need a refresher.

Platform tree: unified management of Video surveillance and Access control from a single location

To make room for the new Access points feature, we’ve consolidated the former Camera Tree View and Intercom tree sections into a single, unified Platform tree. The new Platform tree serves as the central hub for managing the core services across your properties. Administrators no longer need to search for device settings across multiple sections. Whether a site includes video surveillance cameras, intercom devices, or the new BLE-based keyless access systems, everything can now be managed within a single location profile. This saves time and provides a complete overview of the property at a glance. All tools for managing a specific site are now organized within the new location structure.   • In the Video surveillance section, all familiar camera management features are now available directly within the location profile.

  • In the Access control section, administrators find a centralized workspace for managing both pedestrian entrances and vehicle gates. Alongside the existing intercom management capabilities, Access control now supports modern BLE access devices. At the foundation of Access control is the Access point – a unified logical instance designed to configure any entrance or driveway. When creating an Access point, administrators simply choose its type (Entrance zone, Drive-in zone, Fixed zone, or Universal zone) and associate it with the required intercoms and BLE readers. Visual update of the Administrator cabinet interface

We’re updating the Administrator cabinet with a refreshed visual style and improved workflows. This is the first step in a larger initiative to enhance the user experience. The interface becomes cleaner, lighter, and more intuitive — from the appearance of UI elements to the navigation structure — turning the administrator workspace into a more efficient tool for daily tasks.

What’s new right now:

  • Modern design: a refreshed visual style creates a cleaner and more lightweight workspace.

  • Optimized sidebar navigation: a redesigned section structure makes it easier to find the tools you need.

  • Updated terminology: refined section names help administrators to quickly identify the right tools, get started with their tasks, and navigate the workspace.

New features in the Mobile app

#1. Access: the new way to use intercoms and modern Bluetooth locks

Access is our brand-new section in the mobile app. With the introduction of Access points and support for BLE devices, we reorganized the experience to make everyday access simpler and more intuitive. The Devices section evolved into Access – now a unified, intuitive control center for intercoms and modern Bluetooth locks right in your smartphone. Your Edge devices – Bridge and Camera (Agent) – moved to a new location: simply navigate to Other My Devices to manage them in just a couple of clicks. #2. Widgets: one-tap access

Add brand-new universal Access point widgets to your home screen for instant access control via intercom or BLE lock. We’ve also given camera widgets a fresh, modern redesign for a better user experience. Check out the details on the Widgets documentation page.

#3. Analytics notifications: a new way to flexibly control events

We are excited to introduce one of the most highly anticipated features of this update: customizable push notifications for analytics events on your mobile device. Think of it as your personal control center, letting you react to critical events on the go, straight from your smartphone. Previously, checking for analytics events meant opening the app and manually scrolling through the feed. Now, the app does the work for you, instantly alerting you the moment an event is detected.

How it works. You can find the new notification control center by tapping the new gear icon ⚙️ in the Events section (available under both the Analytics and Camera events tabs). From there, you can select specific analytics cases for individual cameras and set custom notification schedules. This setup works for both selected analytics cases and cameras with built-in analytics features. Need to make a quick adjustment? You can tweak notification settings for any analytics case directly from the context menu of a detected event. From alert to action in a single tap: tapping a notification takes you straight to the event in the app. From there, you can review the footage in the video player, snap a quick screenshot, and instantly share it via messaging apps or save it to your phone. Light theme in Desktop

We’re excited to give you even more flexibility in customizing your workspace. Desktop app users can now choose their preferred color scheme, with a brand-new light theme joining our classic dark interface. Tailor the app to fit your style and work comfortably. In this release, we introduce our proprietary line of Cameras (Agent) – a dedicated edge device designed for seamless integration with the platform. The Camera (Agent) is more than just new hardware; it’s a unified software and hardware environment.

The lineup includes two models:

  • Mini-dome camera: CAX-DT01BM-2PS-28

  • Mini-bullet camera: CAX-BT01BM-2PS-28

The Native Camera (Agent) is our own edge device, delivering centralized management, seamless onboarding, and support for advanced video surveillance capabilities. Deeply integrated with our video surveillance platform, it provides users with a single unified interface for configuration, firmware updates, camera service management, and access to built-in intelligent features — eliminating the need for third-party software.

One of the solution’s key advantages is the platform native video analytics engine, enabling advanced capabilities that are independent of any specific hardware vendor. This approach allows us to deliver a broader range of analytics scenarios, ensure consistent device behavior across the entire ecosystem, and rapidly introduce new algorithms as the platform continues to evolve. From the very first release, the Native Camera (Agent) includes a comprehensive set of services designed for reliable and efficient operation:

  • Internet-based video streaming without requiring a static public (“white”) IP address

  • Secure video transmission with end-to-end encryption

  • Remote over-the-air (OTA) updates without requiring physical access to the device

  • Support for native ONVIF camera events

  • Built-in logging service for rapid diagnostics, faster issue resolution, and improved technical support during operational incidents

This is only the beginning. Native Camera (Agent) will continue to evolve alongside the platform, bringing new capabilities, continuous improvements, and expanded functionality. Remote over-the-air (OTA) updates for Camera (Agent)

As part of our ongoing development of edge devices, we are introducing remote over-the-air (OTA) updates for Camera (Agent). OTA (Over-the-Air) technology enables device updates without requiring physical access to the hardware. The new feature is available for both administrators and end users.

  • Administrators have full control over the firmware repository and can initiate updates for selected Camera (Agent) devices. We have implemented a phased rollout mechanism with support for A/B testing of firmware updates, making the update process safer and more reliable. Instead of releasing a new firmware version to all devices at once, administrators can gradually enable access to the update for selected users only. This enables pilot testing in real-world operating environments, minimizing risks and ensuring system stability before a full-scale rollout. New firmware versions can be uploaded through the updated System > Clients and Licensing > Installation files section. Updating a specific camera is initiated from the General information tab in the new Updates section of a camera card.   • Web application users can manage the update process independently from the Camera (Agent) profile under the General information tab. To update the device, users simply need to click the Update button. For more details, see the web user documentation Camera (Agent).

Extended service support: PTZ and built-in events

For video surveillance users, we've rolled out extended support for the powerful services built right into the Camera (Agent)! Head over to the web interface and check out the brand-new Services tab for your selected camera. It is your central hub for effortlessly activating and managing a suite of advanced manufacturer-crafted features:

  • Interactive PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) control: support for remote camera lens positioning. Users can adjust the camera’s pan, tilt, and zoom in real time, allowing them to quickly change the viewing area without the need for additional software.

  • Built-in events: Agent can now work with events generated directly by the camera—whether it is motion detection, alarm signals, or configuration changes. Users only need to select the specific events they want to receive in the settings.

Bridge device

Remote over-the-air (OTA) updates for the Bridge device

Meet the brand-new Bridge web interface – a powerful feature designed for seamless remote and local administration, configuration, and device monitoring! Managing your Bridge is now more flexible and convenient than ever. You can access the interface directly through any web browser using its local network IP address, or plug a monitor straight into the device via HDMI. Whether you're configuring settings remotely from afar or standing right in front of the hardware, total control is right at your fingertips. Administrator client

General

A large-scale update of the Administrator cabinet design and workflow logic has begun. The first stage has already been implemented, while work on the remaining improvements is ongoing and will be presented in upcoming releases. Detailed information about the changes is provided in the description of each section.

Home page

  • A new is icon image-20260630-143525.png is added to the top-left corner for quick and easy navigation straight to the administrator dashboard (home page).

Platform tree

Platform tree – a new section that brings together management of the platform’s key services: Video surveillance and Access control. The separate Tree view (for cameras) and Intercom tree sections have been discontinued. Now, everything is available in the new Platform tree within the structure of each endpoint (location):

  • Video surveillance – camera management in the familiar format. All functionality previously available under Cameras > Tree view is now integrated here.

  • Access control – a centralized section for managing location Access points. Intercom management functions are moved here, and support for new BLE devices is added.

    • Access point – a new logical instance in Access control designed to organize access to the territory. Here, the administrator creates Access points of different types (Entrance, Drive-in, Universal, Fixed) and links devices to them: Intercoms and new BLE devices. The instance type determines the set and number of devices available for connection.

Devices

  • The updated Devices section now includes management tools for Intercoms and new BLE devices.

  • Management tools for Bridges and Cameras (Agent) are moved to a separate section – Edge devices.

Intercoms

  • The General data tab now includes information about the Access point the device is associated with. The Unbind from access point function is also added.

Edge devices

A new section that brings together management of Bridge devices and Camera (Agent) devices.

Agent

  • Agent – a new name for the former Camera list.

  • For Camera (Agent) devices, administrators can now update firmware remotely. The new feature is available in the management profile of the selected device on the General information tab in the new Updates section.

  • On the Archive tab of the camera management profile, aministrators can configure recording settings separately for streams of different resolutions (HD/SD) for Camera (Agent) devices. This setting is available to administrators depending on the new permissions they have: Camera agent. Setting up archive recording HD and Camera agent. Setting up archive recording SD.

  • A new Services tab is added. This section is intended for monitoring the status of Camera (Agent) device functionality. Information on the tab is available to administrators in read-only mode: it displays the status of the device positioning controls (PTZ) as well as up-to-date information about the activation and settings of events processed by the camera’s built-in analytics.

Bridge

  • Bridge – a new name for the former Bridge list.

  • The Archive tab in the device management profile. Administrators can flexibly configure stream recording for cameras connected through a Bridge. A gear icon is added next to each camera – Edit archive recording settings. Quality selection makes it possible to configure recording settings separately for streams with different resolutions (HD/SD). This setting is available to administrators depending on the new permissions they have: Bridge. Setting up archive recording HD and Bridge. Setting up archive recording SD.

Media Servers

  • Media Servers is a new, separate section for managing media servers. Previously, all functionality was located in the Provisioning section. The Statistics page is now moved here.

Administration

Administrators

The access level features described below for individual administrators are also available when setting up administrator roles in the Administrator roles section.

In the administrator profile, under Access levels:

  • Devices:

    • New permissions to manage Camera (Agent) archive recording: Camera agent. Setting up archive recording HD and Camera agent. Setting up archive recording SD.

    • New permissions to manage archive recording from Bridge cameras: Bridge. Setting up archive recording HD and Bridge. Setting up archive recording SD.

    • The permissions Bridge firmware update, Camera agent firmware update are discontinued.

  • Device firmware: new set of permissions to manage firmware for devices.

  • Access points: new set of permissions to manage Access points and associated devices.

  • BLE devices: new set of permissions to manage BLE devices and digital access keys.

In the administrator profile, under Devices for administration (former Cameras for administration):

  • Available locations: a new section that merges the former Available cameras and Available intercoms trees. Administrators can use it to assign access to specific locations within the Platform tree.

Users

  • The general list of users and list of subusers are redesigned for improved usability: all key user data – such as the list of cameras, devices, and licenses – is now extracted and easily accessible. The most important information is always at a glance, while the ability to navigate to the detailed user profile remains fully available.

User profile card (billing and created by administrator)

  • The General information tab. Managing individual session limits: the administrator can set limits on the individual number of sessions for the Access point functionality. The Intercom module is no longer managed separately – it is now fully integrated into the general Access point session system, which includes all supported devices.

  • Access points – a new tab. This tab shows detailed info on user access points and their associated devices, including intercoms and BLE devices.

Access levels section:

  • BLE devices is a new user permission enabling BLE capabilities on the platform.

  • New permissions for configuring Camera (Agent) settings under the Services tab of the camera details view:

    • Camera agent. Get events

    • Camera agent. PTZ control

Reports

  • Reports are now grouped into logical categories: Cameras, Media Servers, Intercoms, Users, and System. This structure helps you navigate data faster and find the required metrics with ease.

  • About devices – a new type of report in the System reports. Enables the export of current information regarding all access control devices integrated into the platform (limited to BLE devices in this release).

  • The About licenses report is now updated with new columns for more detailed insights: Video surveillance cameras, Access point types, BLE devices and keys.

  • The About intercoms report is now updated:

    • When generating the report, the Location drop-down filter displays the top level of the location tree corresponding to the intercom's placement.

    • A new column, Access point, is added to the report structure.

  • The About the system report is now updated to include data on the number of BLE devices.

System

System – a new name for the former System settings section. The System section now includes the following subsections:

Access rights settings

  • Global setting Session limit: the administrator can set limits on the number of sessions for the Access point functionality. The Intercom module is no longer managed separately – it is now fully integrated into the general Access point session system, which includes all supported devices.

Clients and Licensing

  • Installation files. On the Firmware files tab, administrators can now upload new firmware versions for Camera (Agent) devices.

  • Branding – a new name for the former Logos.

  • Licensing – a new name for the former Licenses. Updates:

    • Current license usage is displayed for the platform’s new features: BLE controllers, BLE keys, and Access points (with a breakdown by zone type). For easier monitoring, each category is presented as a separate card featuring a visual progress bar and three key metrics: Used, Available, and Total.

    • Revalidate – manually refreshes the licensing data. This button synchronizes license information with the licensing server, ensuring that the displayed licensing parameters are updated across the system immediately.

    • Status – a new information panel displayed at the bottom of the page. It shows the latest data retrieved directly from the licensing server where all current licenses were generated, providing verified, up-to-date information about the status of your license entitlements.

Bridge

  • Camera archive management: editing of recording settings on the Archive tab for a selected camera is now restricted. Only users with the appropriate permissions configured by an administrator (Devices > Bridge. Archive) can modify these settings. For all other users, the settings are available in read-only mode.

Camera (Agent)

  • A self-service firmware update feature is added for Camera (Agent) devices. Users can find this new option on the General information tab within the management profile of the selected camera.

  • On the new Services tab, users can manage the PTZ option and built‑in events implemented by the camera manufacturer.

  • Camera archive management: editing of recording settings on the Archive tab for a selected camera is now restricted. Only users with the appropriate permissions configured by an administrator (Devices > Camera. Archive) can modify these settings. For all other users, the settings are available in read-only mode.

  • New camera status – Activating: while a camera is in the Activating state, users can view only the device's basic information and have the option to remove it. Video streaming and access to advanced settings become available automatically once the activation process is complete.

Settings

Profile

  • The Session count tab now includes information on all supported Access point devices. The Intercom module is no longer tracked separately and is now fully integrated into the general Access point session system, which includes all supported devices.

Desktop

General information

  • Users with the Blocked status are no longer allowed to view video streams.

Live

  • PTZ Control Panel enhancements: the PTZ control interface is completely redesigned and now includes several new features:

    • Continuous control mode is introduced, enabling smooth PTZ camera movement for as long as the control is engaged. Users can now switch between Step and Continuous control modes.

    • Flexible speed settings: camera movement speed can now be configured independently for each control mode.

    • Home Position: a new Set Home Position function allows users to define the camera's default position.

Settings

Profile

  • On the Active sessions and Session count tabs, the Intercom module name is replaced with Access points in both tabs. This change consolidates session information for intercoms and new BLE devices under a single Access point category.

Playback

  • Under Playback protocol, users can select the video playback protocol for the Archive: HLS or RTSP. The selected protocol helps optimize the balance between playback latency and streaming stability.

    • RTSP delivers the lowest playback latency. Users can additionally enable Buffering, which applies to both Live view and Archive playback. Buffering feature allows users to monitor events with near real-time responsiveness, which is essential for operational control. When enabled, the system temporarily stores a small amount of video data before playback to ensure smoother streaming. This provides playback quality comparable to HLS while maintaining minimal latency, even in networks with unstable bandwidth.

    • HLS is designed for maximum Archive playback stability. When HLS is selected, Archive buffering is enabled automatically and cannot be disabled. This helps compensate for network fluctuations and ensures smooth video playback. Configurable buffering for Live view is also available. HLS also supports Accelerated playback mode, allowing users to choose the frame processing mode:

      • By key frames optimized for quickly reviewing long archive recordings at x4 and x8 speeds.

      • Without frame skipping plays all frames in the stream to provide maximum video detail.

Mobile app

Cameras

  • To improve camera navigation for edge devices, the All cameras tab now uses a structured grouping approach:

    • Bridge-based grouping: cameras connected through the same Bridge device are automatically grouped into a dedicated folder named after that Bridge.

    • Cameras (Agent) are displayed in a separate dedicated group.

Player

  • Enhanced PTZ control. The PTZ control interface in the mobile app now supports continuous camera movement. Users can smoothly change the camera direction by keeping the directional control pressed. A speed slider is added to make adjusting camera movement speed faster and more convenient.

  • Intercom camera door unlock. A lock button is now available directly in the video player when viewing an intercom camera. Users can unlock the door while staying in the video viewing mode.

Devices

  • The Devices section is discontinued and replaced with the new Access section. This section brings together access control management for Intercom and new BLE devices, along with configuration settings for these devices.

  • Management of edge devices, including Camera (Agent) and Bridge, is now available under Other > My devices (new section).

Access

  • Access – a new section.

  • Here, users can manage Access points, access to the premises via the intercom and BLE device, as well as configure the required permissions for their mobile device.

  • To help users quickly get started with the new Access points and BLE key functionality, the Onboarding tutorial is added (the “i” icon). Users can open the tutorial again whenever needed.

  • Intercom. Call settings. If a call receiving method is included in the access scheme but is disabled by the administrator, it appears as inactive in the app with the status Disabled by administrator.

Other

My devices

  • My devices – a new section to manage edge devices, including Camera (Agent) and Bridge. This functionality was moved from the deprecated section Devices.

  • The Bridge tab now includes the list of the associated devices and their preview.

Permissions

  • Permissions – a new section where users can manage all permissions for the mobile application.

Sessions

  • On the Active sessions and Number of sessions tabs, the Intercom module name is replaced with Access points in both tabs. This change consolidates session information for intercoms and new BLE devices under a single Access point category.

Widgets

  • New universal Access point widgets for managing access through intercoms and BLE devices.

  • As part of our ongoing interface improvements, we have completely redesigned the camera widgets. The key objective is to provide users with greater flexibility when configuring their workspace. Widgets now support dynamic resizing, allowing users to adjust their size from 1×1 up to 2×2. We have also refreshed all widget previews and removed branding elements to create a cleaner, less distracting interface.

 Fixes

Several minor bugs have been fixed, providing users with improved overall application stability and performance.
