In the Access control section, administrators find a centralized workspace for managing both pedestrian entrances and vehicle gates on the premises. At the foundation of Access control is the Access point – a unified logical instance designed to configure any entrance or driveway. The Access control section is displayed when at least one Access point is added to this location. The counter indicates the number of Access points for this location. Select Access control to open the list of access points assigned to the location. From here, you can manage these access points and associated devices.

The table includes the following parameters for each access point:

Name (features sorting): access point name. The list may also display an access point from another location with granted access, marked with the special icon

Access point type

Added devices (features sorting): total number of devices linked to the access point.

Device type: unique types of added equipment, with the number of devices of that type indicated in parentheses, for example: Intercom (1).

Creation date (features sorting): date and time the access point was created.

Move to location: move the access point to another location in the platform tree.

Rename: rename the access point.

Delete: delete the access point.

Create an access point
To create an access point, select Create access point. Next, follow the instructions from the Create an access point page.

Move an access point to another location
In the row of the target access point, select the vertical ellipsis icon to open the context menu and select Move to location. In the form that opens, select the target location. You can search for a location by name. The list excludes the current location of the access point as well as any locations connected as additional ones. Select Confirm.
Moving an access point reconfigures the connected equipment:

Additional locations are moved along with the access point.

BLE devices:
-
Bound keys (both permanent and temporary) are deleted, and licenses used for these keys are released.

BLE device settings are saved.

Intercoms:
-
User bindings to intercom apartments are deleted.
-
Temporary access codes are deleted.
-
Video analytics settings are reset.
-
Intercom settings are preserved: parameters on the General and Settings tabs, hardware keys, the specified apartment range, and SIP server configuration.

Actuator devices (this type of device is planned in future releases):

User bindings to the device are deleted.
-
Actuator device settings remain unchanged.

Rename an access point
To rename an access point, select the vertical ellipsis icon in the access point row and choose Rename. In the form that opens, enter the new access point name and select Save.
The rename function is also available when viewing the access point card.
Delete an access point
To delete an access point, select the vertical ellipsis icon to open the context menu and choose Delete. If no devices link to the access point, a confirmation form for deleting the access point appears. If at least one device links to the access point, the system displays the following prompt with the options to select:

Delete access point without deleting devices: deletes only the access point. The devices remain in the system and can be linked to another access point.

Delete access point along with devices: permanently deletes the access point and all associated devices from the system without the possibility of recovery.
Select the relevant option and Delete.
The delete function is also available when viewing the access point card.
