Bridge hardware design
The figure shows a typical Bridge device layout. Component placement and port availability may vary depending on the device model.
Connection panel

DC – power connector for the included power adapter. Provides power to the device.

OPTICAL* – optical output. Not used in the current Bridge device version.

HDMI – universal digital connector for HDMI devices.

ETHERNET – network port used to connect the device to a local network or the internet through a wired connection.

AV / Reset – recessed button used to reset the Bridge device to factory settings. For detailed reset instructions, see the Reset Bridge to factory settings page.

USB 2.0 – universal interface ports for connecting external peripheral devices, including a keyboard and mouse.

CARD – SD card slot. For details about video recording, see the Video archive recording: cloud and local storage documentation page.

USB 3.0* – high-speed port. Not used in the current Bridge device version.

Digital display – shows the device IP address when connected to the network.
