View and edit an access point

The access point card provides the following management options:

• View access point parameters

• Rename the access point

• Delete the access point

• Edit the list of additional locations

• Link devices to the access point

• Unlink devices from the access point

• View user logins.

The access point card header displays the following information:

• Access point name

• Access point UUID

• Button to edit the access point name

• Button to delete the access point

The access point parameters are organized into tabs: General information, Devices, and Logins.

General information

• Access point type: Displays the type of the current access point.

• Main location: Displays the full hierarchical name of the platform tree branch (address) containing the current access point. Selecting this address opens the access point list for that location. There is a functionality to move the access point to another location. For details, refer to the Access control documentation page.

• Additional locations: Available only for Drive-in zone access points. Displays the list of locations with access to the current access point. Selecting an address opens the access point list for that location. The following documentation section describes how to add and manage additional locations – Additional locations.

Devices

At the top of the Devices tab, you can perform the following actions:

• Use the search bar to find a relevant device in the list.

• Add a device to the location with the Add device button.

The table contains parameters for all devices bound to the current access point:

• ID: Unique system identifier of the device.

• Device name (features sorting): Custom name of the device.

• Device type: Type of the device (intercom, BLE device, actuator).

• Vendor: Official name of the manufacturer.

• Model: Official model name or factory model code.

• Date added (features sorting): Date and time when the hardware is bound to the access point.

To open a specific device card, select the target row.

Logins

The Logins tab displays a list of user logins associated with the devices added to the access point.

A user appears in the table if they are bound to at least one device at this access point:

• Intercoms: The user is added to at least one apartment of the intercom.

• BLE devices: The user has a temporary or permanent key issued (regardless of the key activity status).

• Actuator devices (expected in future releases): The user is added to the device access list (regardless of the device status).

The login list appears as a table with the following columns:

• ID (features sorting): Unique numeric identifier of the user in the system.

• Name (features sorting): Full name of the user. Selecting this value opens the user card.

• Login (features sorting): User login for authentication. Selecting this value opens the user card.

• Device: List of devices at the current access point that grant access to the user. Selecting a device name opens the device card.

• User type: Account registration method (administrator-created or billing-created).

• Creation date (features sorting): Date and time of profile registration in the system.

• Active until (features sorting): Account expiration date. This field applies only to administrator-created profiles. For billing-created users, this cell always displays a dash.

Use the search field to find a relevant user by name or login.

Rename an access point

To rename an access point, select an Edit icon next to the access point name. Enter a new name and save the changes.

You can also rename an access point from the list of access points of a location.

Delete an access point

To delete an access point, select the Delete icon. If no devices link to the access point, a confirmation form for deleting the access point appears. If at least one device links to the access point, the system displays the following prompt with the options to select:

• Delete access point without deleting devices: deletes only the access point. The devices remain in the system and can be linked to another access point.

• Delete access point along with devices: permanently deletes the access point and all associated devices from the system without the possibility of recovery.

Select the relevant option and Delete.

The delete function is also available when viewing the access point list.

Deleting an access point also removes the associations between the access point and its bound devices, if any exist. The section on device adding describes the association removal process. See the Add a device to an access point documentation page.
