Permanent keys. BLE device

On the Permanent keys tab, the administrator can track and manage permanent keys assigned to users for interaction with the current BLE device. The Permanent keys tab page presents a list of keys, associated users, and provides key management, search, and filtering tools.

The permanent key list is presented as a table with an overview of the main data on each key.

  • ID: unique system identifier of the record linking the user to the permanent key.

  • Name: name of the user associated with the permanent key. Selecting this field opens the user card.

  • Login: user login associated with the permanent key. Selecting this field opens the user card.

  • Key status: current state of the key. Possible states:

    • Active: the key is valid.

    • Inactive: the key is invalid and its expiration date has passed.

  • Issue date: date and time of key creation.

Each row ends with the vertical ellipsis icon to open the context menu for managing a specific key. Here, you can select:

  • Activate (for inactive keys)

  • Delete

For quick key search and management, the interface provides:

  • Column sorting

  • Search by username and login

  • Key filtering by status

Add a permanent key

Administrators can add a permanent key only for BLE devices linked to an access point.

To add keys, the administrator requires permissions from the following groups:

  • BLE devices: View BLE device list, View BLE device, View and manage BLE keys.

  • Billing users: View billing user list, Update billing user.

  • System users: View system user list, Update system user.

  • Platform tree: View and manage platform tree.

  • Access points: View access point list.

To add a permanent key, follow the steps:

  1. Select Add permanent key.

  2. This calls out the Login selection drop-down. The list displays system users, billing users, and subusers with the Active or Blocked status who currently have neither a permanent nor a temporary key for this BLE device.

  3. Once users are selected, choose Add.

The maximum number of keys created simultaneously is 500.

The system then checks for available licenses with the BLE keys parameter:

  • The number of free licenses must match the number of selected users. If sufficient free licenses are available, the system adds keys for all specified users.

  • If the available license count is insufficient or the BLE key license limit is reached, the system aborts key creation and displays an error message.

Once a key is successfully issued, the system generates the Permanent key addition event in Devices > BLE devices > Added > BLE device card > User actions tab.

Activate a permanent key

The activation feature applies only to permanent keys with the Inactive status.

The manual activation feature allows renewal of a permanent key validity period and restores the Active status.

To activate a permanent key, select the vertical ellipsis icon to open the context menu in the inactive key row, select Activate, and confirm the action.

Upon successful activation:

  • The key receives the Active status.

  • The key validity period extends.

  • The system generates the Permanent key activation event in Devices > BLE devices > Added > BLE device card > User actions tab.

Delete a permanent key

To delete a permanent key, select the vertical ellipsis icon to open the context menu in the key row, select Delete, and confirm the action.

Upon permanent key deletion:

  • The license with the BLE keys parameter is released.

  • The permanent key is no longer associated with the user account. The BLE device no longer appears in the list of available devices in the mobile app.

  • The system generates the Permanent key deletion event in Devices > BLE devices > Added > BLE device card > User actions tab.
