Video from the Camera (Agent) is available only to the end user who has access to this camera. The video surveillance system administrator cannot view the Camera (Agent) video stream. Access control permissions ensures that the administrator can view only the camera technical parameters.
Once the camera is integrated with the video surveillance platform, users can access live video and archive recordings, manage connected cameras, and configure camera settings through the web interface, dedicated mobile app, and desktop client. This provides complete video surveillance control from any device.
For quick identification, Camera (Agent) devices are marked with a dedicated icon
Web interface
The Camera (Agent) is integrated into the video surveillance ecosystem, which allows users to work with it through the standard web interface tools:
-
Camera (Agent) devices are available in the same sections as other cameras added to the system using different methods. This provides a consistent approach to video viewing, management, and access regardless of the connection type. For more information, see the Cameras. Web user documentation section for the video surveillance web interface user guide.
-
In Devices > Cameras, the user can view the list of all Cameras (Agent) and configure their settings. For more information, see the Cameras (Agent). Web user documentation section.
Mobile application
Agent camera management and viewing are available in two main sections:
-
Other > My devices > Cameras – use this section to add, configure, and manage Camera (Agent) devices on the platform. For more information, see the Camera (Agent) page og the mobile app user documentation section.
-
Cameras > All cameras – view the complete list of available cameras, including Camera (Agent) devices, for a comprehensive overview and access to all video surveillance cameras. For more information, see the Cameras (Android, iOS) documentation section.
