The process of adding the Bridge to the video surveillance platform, configuring and managing cameras, including providing camera access to other users, is performed through the video surveillance web user interface in the Devices > Bridges section.
Prepare cameras
Before integrating equipment with the cloud platform, complete two steps: network connection and internal camera configuration.

Single network segment: the Bridge, surveillance cameras, router, and switch must be connected to the same local network. To configure the system, connect devices using network cables: connect each camera and the Bridge to switch ports to enable data exchange.

Configure services in the camera web interface: before adding cameras to the platform, check that they are ready for operation. Enable the ONVIF service in the web interface of each camera (if connecting through ONVIF) and configure an access profile. To add a camera to the Bridge through RTSP, use the camera RTSP stream URLs. Manage these settings through the camera web interface. The configuration steps can vary depending on the camera brand and model. Check the camera manufacturer documentation for details.
Discover cameras by the Bridge
Once the Bridge is successfully added to the video surveillance platform, it automatically starts detecting cameras located in the same local network. The user can view the detected camera list in the detailed information of the selected Bridge in the video surveillance web user interface in the Devices > Bridges section. Follow the detailed instructions in the Bridges > Manage cameras documentation section for the web user.
Camera detection and manual management: in some cases, the Bridge can fail to automatically detect cameras. This can occur due to network settings or other technical limitations. To update the camera list, the user can manually restart the detection process by selecting the Discover cameras button in the video surveillance web user interface. For detailed instructions, see the Bridges > Manage cameras documentation section for the web user.
Change camera IP address
For cameras that use dynamic IP address assignment through DHCP, the IP address can change, for example, after restarting network equipment. The Bridge automatically monitors these changes.
Technical requirements and limitations:

The feature works when the Bridge and cameras are located in the same broadcast domain.

The feature works across different networks if traffic routing between network segments is configured through VPN, Directed Broadcast, or other similar methods.

The cameras must have ONVIF enabled and the Discovery Mode network discovery feature activated.
Connect Bridge cameras to video surveillance
Limit the number of connected cameras
The Bridge can detect any number of cameras available in the local network. The detection process has no technical limit.
The administrator sets a limit of up to 8 cameras that can be connected through one Bridge to the video surveillance platform.
After the Bridge searches for and detects cameras in the local network, the user can add cameras to the video surveillance platform in one of the following ways:

Select a camera from the automatically generated list of detected devices.

Add a camera manually. Use this method when the camera is located in the same local network as the Bridge but is not detected automatically.

Access video surveillance through connected cameras
After successfully connecting the Bridge and cameras, the user can access video surveillance through all main interfaces: web, desktop, and mobile applications.
Cameras connected through the Bridge appear in the same video surveillance interface sections as cameras connected using other methods. This provides a consistent user experience for viewing, managing, and accessing video regardless of the camera connection method.
