Intercom technical and functional requirements

Technical hardware requirements

Intercom panel power input: 12 VDC.
The intercom panel enclosure must provide an ingress protection rating of at least IP64 according to the testing procedure defined by the national standard of the country where the intercom panel is used.
The intercom panel must have a backlit keypad with numeric keys 1–9 and Call and End call symbols. Pressing a numeric key must produce an audible keypress tone.
The intercom panel must have a built-in MIFARE reader operating at 13.56 MHz for access cards.
The intercom panel must have two relay outputs (NO + NC) for controlling two actuators.
The intercom panel must have a 100 Mbps full-duplex network interface with an RJ45 connector.
The intercom panel must have an interface for connecting a matrix analog switch that supports analog intercoms.
The intercom panel must support one additional reader for controlling an additional door.
The intercom panel must have an interface for connecting exit buttons for each door.

Technical requirements (general functionality)

The intercom panel must support the SIP protocol according to RFC 3261.
The intercom panel must support the E.164 international phone number format when registering with the SIP server.
The intercom panel must receive and recognize DTMF signals transmitted over RTP according to RFC 2833. Default DTMF codes:

The intercom panel must register with the SIP server using settings configured through the API.
The intercom panel must have a built-in video camera with a resolution of at least 2 MP and infrared illumination.

- Receiving a video stream using the RTSP protocol.
- Receiving and configuring a video stream using the ONVIF protocol.
- Support for the H.264 video codec.
- Support for the H.265 video codec.
- Support for the G.711 A-law audio codec.

The intercom panel must remain operational if communication with a third-party management system is lost, except for functionality that requires an active connection.
The intercom panel must provide the following door-opening methods:

- PIN code
- MIFARE access card (external UID)
- ISAPI request. For details, see “Technical requirements for the intercom panel API” below.
- Door-release button on an analog handset
- Exit button connected to the intercom panel

The intercom panel must support DHCP. DHCP must be enabled by default on a new intercom panel.
The intercom panel must support IPv4.
The intercom panel must support IPv6.
The intercom panel must support NTP.
The intercom panel must support separate configuration of analog handset resistance thresholds for each apartment:

- Handset off-hook state
- Door opening
- Line break
- Line short circuit

The intercom panel must support self-diagnostics of analog handset resistance levels.
The intercom panel must support separate volume-level configuration for each apartment:

- Call audio volume in the analog handset
- Ringtone volume of the analog handset
- Call audio volume in the intercom panel

The intercom panel must support configuration of the volume level for system sounds, including user action announcements, voice prompts, and keypress tones.
The intercom panel must support selecting the language for voice prompts and user action announcements based on the country where the intercom panel is installed:

- Door opened
- The called subscriber is unavailable
- Invalid PIN code
- Invalid key

The intercom panel must generate logs at different severity levels and provide a mechanism for transmitting them to a third-party system in the following format: Event : Date : Time : {Event description}:

- Unknown key: {key number}.
- Door opened using key: {key number}.
- Door opened using analog handset: {apartment number}.
- Door opened using the exit button.
- Door opened using PIN code: {PIN code number}.
- Invalid PIN code: {PIN code number}.
- Door opened using DTMF code.
- Door opened via API.

Technical requirements for the intercom panel API

Doors

The intercom panel API must support sending door-control commands from a third-party application:

Open a door and keep it unlocked until an ISAPI request to lock the door is received.
Lock the door.
Perform a one-time door unlock.

The intercom panel API must support configuring door operating modes:

Configure the unlock duration for a one-time door unlock.
Configure the door relay mode: normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC).

PIN codes

The intercom panel API must support PIN-code management:

Add a single PIN code associated with an apartment number.
Add a single PIN code without an apartment number.
Delete a single PIN code.
Retrieve the list of all PIN codes stored on the intercom panel.
Retrieve the list of all PIN codes assigned to a specified apartment.
Delete all PIN codes from the intercom panel.

Analog switch matrices

The intercom panel API must support analog switch matrix management:

Set the first apartment number for the analog switch matrix (offset).
Run analog handset line diagnostics and retrieve the measured values.
Set the off-hook resistance threshold separately for each apartment.
Set the door-release resistance threshold separately for each apartment.
Set the line short-circuit resistance threshold separately for each apartment.
Set the line break resistance threshold separately for each apartment.

SIP

The intercom panel API must support management of door-release DTMF codes for each controlled door, if multiple doors are available.

Edit the DTMF code for:
- Door No. 1
- Door No. 2

The intercom panel API must support management of the intercom panel SIP configuration.

Edit the SIP registrar server IP address.
Edit the SIP registration expiry time.
Edit the SIP registrar server port.
Edit the SIP registrar authentication username.
Edit the SIP registrar authentication password.
Edit the call setup timeout.
Edit the maximum SIP call duration.
Enable or disable SIP on the intercom panel.

The intercom panel API must support configuring the SIP calling party.

The intercom panel API must support enabling and disabling the video stream during a voice call.

The intercom panel API must support enabling and disabling calls to a specific apartment number:

Calls to the analog handset, configurable separately for each apartment.
Calls to the SIP number, configurable separately for each apartment.

General

The intercom panel API must support enabling or disabling the intercom panel web interface.

Access cards

The intercom panel API must support enabling or disabling automatic key collection.

The intercom panel API must support the following access-card operations:

Retrieve the list of all access cards stored in the intercom panel memory across all apartments.
Retrieve the list of all access cards assigned to a specified apartment.
Add an access card to a specified apartment.
Delete an access card.
Delete all access cards from the intercom panel memory.
Edit an access card.

Apartments

The intercom panel API must support retrieving apartment information:

Analog handset call enabled status.
SIP call enabled status.
Analog handset on-hook resistance level.
Analog handset off-hook resistance level.
Door-release resistance level.
Analog handset call volume level.
SIP number assigned to the apartment.

The intercom panel API must support apartment management on the intercom panel:

Create a new apartment.
Retrieve the list of all apartments.
Retrieve settings for a specific apartment.
Edit a specific apartment.
Delete a specific apartment.
