Administrator guide. Intercom

The VSaaS platform supports technical integration with various intercom systems, providing a modern and reliable way to manage access to premises and facilities.

The administrator performs all intercom management operations in the Administrator panel.

The Administrator panel is a centralized tool for configuring and managing a system in which the intercom is part of the overall access infrastructure. Before end users can access premises using the intercom, the administrator must configure the environment.

Configure and use an intercom on the platform

Configuring and connecting an intercom on the platform requires several key steps, including license preparation, equipment integration, and user administration. The following sequence describes the administrator's workflow.

  1. Perform initial configuration: configure the intercom panel before adding it to the platform. The following information is required to add the device to the platform: the login and password for the intercom web interface and the intercom IP address. Configure this information at this stage.

  2. Configure administrator access: grant the administrator the permissions required to work with the intercom on the platform.

  3. Check licenses: make sure that enough available licenses exist to connect the intercoms to the platform.

  4. Integrate with the platform and manage the device: add the intercom to the platform and associate it with an access point and camera.

  5. Manage users: assign permissions to users and grant access to the intercom.

  6. View events: monitor intercom operation and review the log of system events, user actions, and video analytics events.

This documentation describes the main administrator tasks for configuring and managing intercoms on the platform. For detailed instructions, see the following documentation pages:
