Drive-in zone

The platform administrator manages Access points in the Administrator cabinet under Platform tree > Final location > Access control. The administrator creates an Access point and assigns one of the following types: Entrance, Drive-in, Defined (Fixed), or Universal. Based on the selected type, the platform indicates which devices and how many devices can be connected and combines them into a single access control system. Once devices are assigned to an access point, they operate as a unified system, while all management and configuration remain within the Access point. A single location can include any number of access points of different types.

The Drive-in zone is intended to provide vehicle access through gates, barriers, and other entrance structures.

Allowed devices and quantity:

• 1 device of the Actuator type

• 1 BLE controller

Limitations: no more than one device of each specified type can be connected.

Drive-in zone use case

A secure parking area with automated vehicle access. To provide drivers with fast and convenient access, the administrator creates a Drive-in access point named “Main entrance.” The access point combines an actuator device, such as a barrier controller, and a BLE controller that detects signals from smartphones.

• For the administrator: the access point brings together everything associated with the entrance, including the barrier operating schedule, event monitoring, connected devices, settings, and device assignments to users. • For a person entering the property: the process is simple and automated. As the vehicle approaches the gate, the system controller automatically identifies the driver smartphone through a Bluetooth signal, verifies access rights, and sends a command to open the barrier.
