Entrance zone

The platform administrator manages Access points in the Administrator cabinet under Platform tree > Final location > Access control. The administrator creates an Access point and assigns one of the following types: Entrance, Drive-in, Defined (Fixed), or Universal. Based on the selected type, the platform indicates which devices and how many devices can be connected and combines them into a single access control system. Once devices are assigned to an access point, they operate as a unified system, while all management and configuration remain within the Access point. A single location can include any number of access points of different types.

The Entrance zone of an access point is intended to provide access to a premises or area.

Allowed devices and quantity:

• 1 Intercom

• 1 BLE device

Limitations: You can connect no more than one device of each specified type.

Entrance zone use case

A modern apartment building entrance with an intercom and keyless access. To provide residents with convenient access, the administrator creates an Entrance access point named “Entrance No. 1.” The access point combines an intercom for calling and communicating with visitors and a BLE device for keyless door access from a smartphone.

• For the administrator: the access point brings together everything associated with the entrance, including connected devices, settings, and device assignments to users. All this information is managed within the “Entrance No. 1” access point created for the selected location. This simplifies access point configuration, management, and maintenance. • For the resident: access depends on the device in use and the access rights assigned by the administrator. The resident only needs a smartphone with the mobile app and Bluetooth (BLE) enabled. The door can be opened through the intercom or with a BLE key. When using BLE, the smartphone sends a BLE signal to the entrance controller. The controller automatically identifies the smartphone, verifies access rights, and unlocks the door. For more information about managing access from a smartphone, see the User guide. Access point.
