Side panel. Desktop Client
On the left side of the window there is a panel with a list of cameras. The panel is displayed when viewing the «Live» and «Archive» sections.
The panel is intended:
To select cameras for viewing in live mode or archive mode (depending on the section)
To create and populate camera groups
To create and configure layouts (video walls) and groups of layouts
The panel includes (from top to bottom):
Search field for cameras and groups by their name
Group list update button
Add group button
A non-deletable and non-editable «All Cameras» directory that contains all cameras available to the current user. The directory is created automatically
Undeletable and uneditable directories in which cameras are distributed by address. Directories are created automatically
Camera groups (if created)
Field for searching layouts by their name
Keyboard list update button
Button for adding a group of layouts
List of layouts and layout groups
Changing the panel size
You can change the panel size. To do this, move the cursor to the border between the panel and the work area, hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse to the right or left to change the width of the panel.
Collapse the panel
The side panel can be folded. To do this, click on the appropriate button.
To return the panel to its original state, press the button again.
Context menu
There are a number of additional functions, such as renaming a group, moving cameras, viewing the layout in a separate window, etc., which are called up using the context menu.
To open the context menu, move the cursor over the name of the camera, camera group, layout or group of layouts and click the right mouse button.
As a result, a context menu will be displayed with a set of functions depending on the selected object.
Also, the context menu of a layout or group of layouts is called up by pressing the “…” button next to the name
