The Sessions section includes the Active sessions and Number of sessions tabs that provide comprehensive information on user sessions and available functionality within each session.
Session limits are configured by the system administrator. They can be set individually or globally, applying to all users. Individual settings override global ones.
Active sessions
The Active sessions tab provides users with an overview of all sessions (both active and inactive) associated with their account. Sessions may be open on different devices – such as the mobile app, desktop client, or web browser. Details on devices are displayed for each session.
For every session, the components and features available within it (for example, intercom and/or video surveillance) are shown. The components and their functionality depend on the specific user’s rights and permissions. Any session can be closed by following these steps:
-
Tap a session in the list.
-
Tap Close session on the opened tab.
-
Confirm the action.
As a result:
-
A session will be closed and won’t be listed anymore.
-
If you close a current active session on your mobile app and confirm it, you’ll exit the account and will be redirected to the authorization tab.
Number of sessions
The Number of sessions tab displays statistics on the number of sessions and the components available to the user. For example, the user has 5 sessions for the Intercom component, and the corresponding functionality is available. The available components and their functionality depend on the specific user’s rights and permissions. If the number of sessions exceeds the allowed limit, unnecessary sessions can be closed from the Active sessions tab.
