View camera footage in Archive mode (Android, iOS)

The mobile app user can view camera footage in Archive mode of the player if this camera has the enabled archive and this use has access to the archive.

To access the archive, use one of the options:

  • Navigate to the Cameras tab and tap a relevant camera. To search for a camera, use one of the options described in the Navigate through cameras article. Next, in the camera player, perform one of the actions:

    • Drag the toggle to Archive. Playback will begin from the most recent archived segment that was saved at least 10 minutes ago, with regard to the current system time.

    • Drag the timeline to a relevant archive time. If you drag the timeline to a section without available archive video, the slider will automatically move to the next available archived recording.

    • Use the calendar to select date and time to view archive footage in the player. You can select only the dates with available archive.

    • Use the camera events feed to view the event in Archive mode.

  • On the Events tab, select a relevant event and tap it. This opens the event in Archive mode of the player.

  • You can access an intercom camera archive from the Devices tab.

When in Live mode, pay attention that the camera may have been added in a different time zone. As a result, the system time displayed on the camera and the timeline might vary. For details, see the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) article.

For intercom cameras with archive viewing restrictions set by the administrator (for more details, see the View and edit an intercom section > the General data tab), archive access is available as follows:

  • For an answered call – 15 seconds before a call, during a call, and 30 seconds after the call is ended.

  • For a call that wasn’t accepted – 15 seconds before a call and 30 seconds after.
